Hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid is a type of glycosaminoglycan, which is a major component of glycoconjugate. It is present throughout the human body and exists in the highest concentrations in the umbilical cord, joint fluid, vitreous body and skin.
It has excellent water retention properties and viscoelasticity, and can function as an effective lubricant and protective coating. It is primarily used as a raw material of joint function improving agents, ophthalmic surgical aids, ophthalmic products (eye drops), and cosmetics.
Chondroitin sulfate
